Now if only Punjabis could strip their choudhries of their 'leadership' roles, then they could also enjoy the 'freedom' and 'progress' that Balochis will soon enjoy. Oh now, they can't do that cuz most of the choudhries have thier sons and grandsons in the army. Dang it!

Ignorants as we always are and had been, would never bother to know the reasons behind every such action in which our supposedly defenders would come out in open with weapons and brand us with ignominous titles, harrass us and kill us. I am literally sad to read joyful remarks of my brethern on the death of a citizen of Pakistan who has remained as Governor, Chief Minister, Defence Minister, Minister of State for Interior at the hands of Armed Forces of Pakistan. Sad enough is the situation in which we dont seek out the legality of such action. Was he a proclaimed offender decared by a court of Law? Was he absconding?
A year ago, a parliamentary delegation was trusted with the mission to deliberate with Nawab Bugti and get back to the Assembly and debate whats the issue and within a year that spirit which was lawful paved the way for hunting him down and kill him. Who has authrorised that operation and on what basis? A government who says that he was killed in retaliation and that it was not known whether he was there or not was soon to say that he was hiding and forces were zeroing on him since 3 days using satellite tracking system.
To those who believe he blocked the progress of Baloch's may please highlight the level of development we have in rest of the coutnry? And if indeed Sardari System is wrong, why Chaudhris, Sherpaos are not killed in Punjab and NWFP? Indeed the armed forces of Pakistan are the worst Sardars themselves and by all account they had and they continuously have compromised the development of the entire nation. Pakistan is at the worst crossroads today and its them who have brought this country to this juncture.
I condemn the death of Akbar Bugti and his family members at the hands of army and I condemn the rogue state of Pakistan who can not survice with endless hypocricy.

A person who claims to have committed his first murder at the age of 12 is dead. It's a shame that he could not be punished through courts and Government of Pakistan continued its policy of appeasement and neglect because it suited the rulers. It's interesting to see the outpouring of sympathy in Pakisnatni media and from literally every opposition party. What military did may not have been the best strategy, but I don't think many Baloch (those living in Dera Bugti included) are going to lose any sleep over his demise. The 'political workers', however will love this opportunity. The moral of the story is when you continue to shoot at the choppers flying overhead, some of them are going to turn around and fire at you. Don't buy weapons, don't plant landmines, don't destroy roads, infrastructure, don't detonate bombs in bazars, and you're entitled to all the sympathy if you face injustice.

And on this sad occasion, lets not forget that the 'martyr' had far better relationship with the 'sardars' of Punjab and NWFP than the sardars of Sindh. He used to call Benazir 'waderni'. Wasn't it Bugti who saved Shujaat's father from the wrath of Bhuttos? The repatriation policy of Musharraf was started by Benazir not Punjabi or Pushtun sardars. Condemn whoever/whatever you like to condemn, but do not forget to condemn the chief waderni and waderas of Sindh.

Now he's one who i'd call a terrorist, terrorising the state for money. Disrupted the lives of millions in the country by attacking the Sui on a regular basis and preventing the development of the land and mining of the mineral reserves.
Its funny how Pakistanis are shedding tears over the death of the biggest and arguably the most corrupt landlord in the country. Its a moment of joy that the swine is dead, but the war doesn't end here...there are more swines to be killed like Altaf Hussein and landlords from Punjab and Sindh.
