we use the term shaheed rather casually these days. dont we :D
and as far as shops being closed due to strikes, vast majority f them are closed for fear of retaliation by ghundas. just like when MMA types did hartaals in Karachi, even the most anti MMA folks shuttered their shops because theydid not want MMA goons to do torr phorr in their business or attack them personally. So shops being shuttered says nothing.
Pakistan is better off without that warlord.
