More and more people from the late Nawab’s Dera Bugti region and other parts of Balochistan are coming forward now to say those things.
Akbar Bugti himself responsible for his fate : Sumaira Marri
Prominent figure of Marri tribe in Balochistan, Mrs. Sumaira Marri Monday said that late Akbar Khan Bugti himself was responsible for the fate he met. In an interview to PTV she said the incident also caused the loss of several innocent lives including personnel. She said the government had been showing maximum restraint but late Akbar Bugti and his companions failed to avail all the opportunities for peaceful settlement of affairs. Bugti and his companions were targeting public installation as well as innocent people for the past few years she said adding it was no service to the people of Balochistan. She said that majority of tribes are patriot and peace loving people and they will cooperate all the efforts for the development and progress of province. Those who want to secure the rights of Balochistan people would never resort to violence she said adding her tribe is the real advocate of Balochs’ rights. She and her ancestors have been working for the betterment of Baloch people Sumaira said adding in the process they have rendered lot of sacrifices. She said that those involved in miscreant acts are being patronized by their foreign masters and they have no interest in the progress and prosperity of province and its people.
