Seems like SL is nothing witout Murali. I wonder what they are going to do after Murali retires? Maybe they will be the same old SL lose, lose and lose.

England has won the toss and elected to bat.

5/0 after the first over.

England team has one change, Hoggard has been dropped and replaced by A. Giles.

India plays two spinners, Kumble and Harbajhan.

i dont remember the last time england batted so well…

202/1 in 32 overs

Brilliant batting by Trescothick

Well deserve century by trescothick
Batsmen: R B 4s 6s S/R

ME Trescothick (LHB) 100 89 6 2 112.36

kumble does the trick....

Kumble to Trescothick, OUT: Bowled'm! This from the back of the hand, more of a top spinner, pitched on leg and middle, goes for the sweep, ball hit off stump, Standing ovation for Trescothick - been a truly wonderful knock!

England 227/2, Partnership of 185

ME Trescothick b Kumble 109 (100b 7x4 2x6)
N Hussain 81* (96b 6x4)
A Kumble 7.5-0-45-1

a 100 for Nasser Hussain as well....
a poor bowling display by india....

325/5, well done england....
see if they can now hold back india....
india r good chasers, and can make light work of 300+....

326 is a huge total to chase. India has the batting line up to do so but will need a big innings from one of their players, probably Tendulkar. Time for him to stay there through the innings and win the match for India.

Well played England and India's lack of playing five specialist bowlers came to grief today. The two spinners (Kumble and Harbhajan) between them gave away 107 runs in 20 overs for just one wicket. Pretty poor show.

Indian bowling at its best!

This is the time that Tendulkur can prove everyone wrong by winning the match for his team, I don't think anyone else would do anything, its all up to the god, lets see if he can come up with the miracle.

india start off with a quick start....

25 in 4 overs....
they'll have to continue that way if they're gonna win....

india on the right track....
50 off 35 balls for the skipper....

81 in 12 overs.....
6.75 runs an over....

** I guess he proved us right

India 206/5 (34.1 overs)
to win India needs 120 runs with 5 wickets in hand.

-Y.Singh = 36
-M.Kaif = 26

Lets hope that these two can win the match for India.

As usual Tendulkar acted like Junaid jumshaid’s song

mayra dil nahee available
koi aur dur khat-khata

Tendulkar only grows in stature with another wondeful knock.

And please spare us the drama. Gangs and Sehwag provided an excellent platform for Tendya and Dravid to deliver the final blow.

Even if Bharat wins this one, the question mark still hangs over Tendya's head as inquisitively as ever.

Y.Singh & M.Kaif are playing v.well.

Two/Three more good overs for India and they will be pretty much home. A wicket at this stage England will be smelling the victory.

Match is getting interesting.

for India.

I think Bharat are a batsman short. I really think they should not have dropped Agarkar.
