nationalist pakistani is a very good term. unfortunately there are no advocates of the nationalist pakistani agenda in domestic scene. instead our national discourse is dominated by mullah lovers or by tiny minority of english-medium-types who think nationalism is a four letter world. in no other country on earth you will see such apathy to the killing of law enforcement and army personnel by local or foreign insurgents. sure their is lot wrong with pak but there is no country on earth which is perfect and all third world countries including all countries in our neighbourhood are grappling with the same problems. however our media, especially english press, by constantly emphisising negative news and engaging in conspiracy theory has given our awam the impression that govt is always out to screw citizens.
people who are proud pakistanis have a duty to speak out because the future of our country is at stake. we have to emphasize that time has come to put pakistan first. while i sympathise with the kashmir and palestinian cause, we cant accomplish anything when our country is being weakened from the inside by its very own citizens. we should take the microphone back from mullah lovers. pakistan belongs to all pakistanis including secular and non-religious pakistanis. we should now demand that govt reflect the agenda of all its citizens and not those who now are cheering the death of those people who are giving their lives to defend us.

no it is NOT. it is this sort of simplistic pseudo-wisdom that has caused destruction of muslims, destruction of islam and complete mockery of muslim majority countries all over the world. And what is worse, it is causing the death and destruction of thousands of youngsters who have been brainwashed by this sort of nonsense.

"He is not one us of who calls for `Asabiyyah, (nationalism/tribalism) or who fights for Asabiyyah or who dies forAsabiyyah."
And in another Hadith, the Messenger of Allah (saaw) referring tonationalism, racism, and patriotism said"Leave it, it is rotten." [Muslim and Bukhari]

They desecrated the masajids, killed the believers...do you think they care about ahadeeth.

First of all somebody said Allah said does not make it true. If you are a true person Allah speaks to you by making you feel and know what is right and what is wrong.
Second of all, notice the term "is" in your own terms? That "was" then. This is now.And you may ask what is the difference between the then and now. My answer is, Are you commuting by camel train or by car and?
