Ok this sounded a bit crazy to me and I don’t believe it but I want to know if anyone else heard this
I have been talking to some people back from pakistan recently and they are saying that in Pakistan these days people are saying that if the bride doesn’t wear a nath (the nose ring thingy) during her nikah then the nikkah doesn’t happen!!!
I don’t believe its true but I want to know if anyone else heard this?

ive NEVER heard of such nonsense....makes me wonder about the people that actually make this BS up and believe it. They have no Islamic knowledge at all. Pakistani weddings are so full of bidah it's unbelievable. tut tut.

im not quite sure about the nose ring...but mostly old wives tales. also many of the rituals/traditions in these weddings are hindu rituals and beliefs.

there r too many sects in pakistan. some like ''butt'' ''kashmiri'' dont like to use ''nath'' coz they think that its kind of ''nakail'' ,used for animals to make them obedient, that women use,but some ppl use it. now these is not in fashion. but not related to the nikkah at all.
