Amour (burnt pink), Desire (bubble gum pink, a very flattering pink for even fair skin) and Dolce Vita (I LOVE THIS, it's a burnt rose color and it looks AMAZING)

I like Amour but it is a bit too much for me because I am like 125 in Make up forever HD foundation... which is pretty light. It is a beautiful color if applied very little. It gives a natural color to the cheeks. I like cheek stains from Stila but idk how to use one without staining my fingers in the process. :(

Oh, we're the same skin shade. MUFE 125 is around NC20-25 in MAC which is what I am. And yes, Amour needs to be applied using a 187 brush my MAC as it is very pigmented h/e the color isn't too unique tbh so a dupe is okay. And instead of using your fingers to spread the blush, use a synthetic foundation brush or even a lard concealer brush to spread the stain. Or you can check out the cheek stamps from LORAC. I think they are being discontinued so you could get a good deal on them.

What type of color do u like ? if you like pinkish blushes, Dolce vita is a nice rosy natural shade, maybe Mata hari will look nice too, it's more of a warm purply pink so would look beautiful on yellow/olive skin.
otherwise there's Gilda or Gina in the peach range. Torrid is also very nice.

I LOVE Torrid. Its like Orgasm, but for warmer skin tones, with just a hint of shimmer. And its also very highly pigmented, so you only need to use just a bit.

Could anybody please suggest shades for a natural flush/ healthy glow (non-shimmer) on fair skin?

Also, is there a special technique to applying? Do you contour as well?

@ MissChevious : do u mean among Nars blushes ? your best bet is Penny Lane cream blush, easier to apply cause u can just use your hands

Thanks Cinnamonroll, but I have oily skin so I must avoid cream blushes at all costs. Hence I'm stuck with powders. Shame, because cream blushes are much more natural and perfect for everyday wear.

hmm i see what you mean, i had the same problem with bobbi brown's pain pots, they were far too oily. maybe check out Douceur by Nars... but if you look into other brands, Bourjois has some really pretty blushes...or Bobbi brown have a few shades like Desert Rose that look very natural. my personal everyday wear favorite blush is Laura Mercier's Mineral blush in pink dust.

Just bought Sin also! I LOVE IT! Very similar to Oasis in color payoff but less rosy. I love NARS blushes!

So since NARS blushes are $27 a piece, have you tried any of the dupes that are a over the Internet? I would rather buy the actual thing than waste my time on buying dupes adding upTo the price of the original product. So has anyone tried anything similar or same?

The only dupes I've tried are by ELF for Orgasm & Albatross (the highlighter). They say Orgasm and Candid Coral are dupes and although they look the same in the pan, they dont go on the same, although CC is a great color, pigmentation is great too. The Albatross highlighter and Spotlight are the EXACT same so that is one perfect dupe. I also heard one from Milani for being a dupe for Orgasm which is the only ACTUAL dupe for it, havent tried it though.

I ended up getting Taj Mahal as per your recommendation (and also because I'm Lahori and Shah Jahan was a Lahori too, ahem) and I love the color! Can you elaborate on how you keep your makeup (the brown kohl smudged and all) because I am trying to figure out how to make it work so it looks healthy and different like you mentioned. I also got Madly and it is gorgeous. The perfect subtle blush for when you do smokey eyes or have bold lips/eyes.

My skin colour is a mystery it looks brown but foundation it suits is nc40...do u guys think taj mahal blush would look nice on my skin tone? or would i look more dark? what blush colour would it be complementing my skintone?

nc40 IS for brown skin silly! and yes taj mahal will look good on u it looks scary in the pan but gives a nice flush when applied but with a light hand or else its instant clown.

I am NC40/42 as well...a wheatish olive kind of complexion.

Which blush would suit me? I need a natural glow kind of thing.
