Do you guys like them, if yes then which ones do you have have? I know they are quite expensive ($27 per blush) but they have a cult following, especially with the shade called “Orgasm” (ha) and it’s known as the holy grail of all blushes and the best-selling blush in blush history because it is universally flattering. They also have funny names for their colors: Orgasm, Super-Orgasm and Deep-throat amongst many, ahem.
I recently got an advance birthday gift from my sweet and thoughtful fiance and amongst other stuff, were 4 NARS blushes, YAY! He got me:
Orgasm (I can be a sucker for hype so I am thrilled to finally own it)
Exhibit A (looks scary in the pan but it is a deep shocking red BUT when applied subtly it gives the most amazing flushed color, like you came from the cold)
Desire (bubble gum pink, I thought it would be perfect to bring out the pink from my light/fair NC20-NC25 skin with pink undertones, looks scary in the pan but looks AMAZING, one of those blushes for on the go days but still very sexy!)
Lovejoy (a burnt tan-gold plum-rose color, perfect for red lips and dark eyes since it adds warmth and rosiness without being a straight up pink/peach/red etc)
I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVE NARS blushes! Orgasm is a permanent staple in my makeup bag. You cant go wrong with it!
Right now, I mix and match on different days and occasions between Orgasm and Bobbi Brown's Flame. Its kind of like how you described Exhibit A to be...comes out great in pictures!
I use like NC 25 MAC, so would orgasm look better or deep throat? I kinda like the look of deep throat, but it looks like everyone loves orgasm here.
I use 20 Honey by No 7 right now, it's okay, doesn't last very long though, I like the fact that it's not OTT though :)
I don't like orgasm :( it's a pretty colour but it's too shimmery, Benefit coralista is a good alternative
Taj mahal by nars is so beautiful, so exotic looking, Mata hari is also good, as well as Gina if you prefer peach blush. I also have Penny lane which looks very very natural
I think I'm going to have to go to counters and actually check these out rather than just buying something online, but I'm so lazehhhh.

^I think that's the best idea. I went specifically looking for a blush and tried a bunch before one of the counter girls put Gilda on me and I really liked it.
I personally LOVE the Orgasm blush, my favorite has to be Exhibit A, but Orgasm is one of those blushes you can just apply and call it a day. And I think for people that find Orgasm too shimmery, it might be because the shimmer tends to be more apparent on darker skin. On lighter, it just looks fleshy peachy and dewy.
And I really want to get Dolce Vita or Taos (I cant seem to post pictures, the image uploader freezes, I think it’s not compatible with a Mac?) :
They look the same so I’d get one of them. And how would Taj Mahal look on lighter skin? I know it’s an orangey gold color so I am not sure but I’d wanna try it purely for the name (being Lahori and it being the hometown of Shah Jahan and all…ahem)
i have fair skin but i don't like orgasm, i said i like the color, but i just can't stand the glitter, i might pull it off like if if i'm going out at night, but i have a good natural sunlight in my room when i apply my make up so i can see exactly how it looks and how much glitter there is. they even have a blush called super orgasm, which has ten times more glitter, eeeks. deep throat is more reasonable for those who want a less glittery but still glowy look
taj mahal looks nice on fair skin too, obviously with a light hand or you'll look like a phoenix
I actually got an Orgasm as a birthday gift (omg that sounds so horrible) but I didnt' like it so I exchanged it for something else. But a few years later I tried it again and its pretty nice. Its not too noticeable or out there when I take pictures....so i think thats a good thing
How do you use Taj Mahal? To warm your skin up or for color? How does it show up on fair skin (mine has pink undertones) and everything I have seen on blogs etc has been for dark deep skin or with yellow undertones.

i also have exhibit A so i use the same technique for both : i barely dab the brush in the blush, then wipe off some of the product on my hand or a tissue, and then apply it on the cheeks, i find it's the only way not to overdue it if you have fair skin too. i also have one of those stippling brushes but even with them i have to wipe it off.
Taj mahal gives warmth and colour and a very pretty glow, if you're careful enough when applying it, it looks really really pretty, if you're gonna try it at sephora, do not ask the sales assistant lol, because she'll make you look like... well a phoenix, or ask her beforehand to apply with a very light hand

Like someone suggested if you can't stand the glitter like myself too just try benefit's coralista, it's more or less the same shade but so pretty without the tacky glitter, another good option can be Chanel, kinda on the pricier side but thier blushes are also like the best one's ever made :)

Hey! The "glitter" in Orgasm is not glitter first of all (Super Orgasm is the one with chunky glitter) it's actually shimmer and it is in no way tacky, it's isn't the best selling blush for nothing, y'know? And Coralista is great but I think it's more pigmented than Orgasm which might make it difficult for it become a natural, everyday kinda' blush.
