Nands arent some evil creatures out to destroy lives!!! Really I think this is a problem we have in our desi communities where we automatically think that the MIL and SIL are out to make the wife miserable!

I agree!! Me and my bhabi get on like a house on fire, we're like sisters. And as for stealing stuff, i dont need to, we have a mutual agreement. Her stuff is my stuff and my stuff is her stuff :) oh and my mums stuff is our stuff too haha. Her parents and family are always so shocked when she says shes never once fought with her MIL or SIL, and thats how it should be!!

I agree wholeheartedly, I think nands get a bad rep here, but in rani's defense...she said she'd only kick butt if her stuff was stolen, i think anyone is justified in getting mad when their stuff could get stolen.

Isn't what I said, my opninion which I'm entitled to as well?
Not on here to argue, but I'm a nand to two sister-in-laws and I really feel we get a raw deal. There's just that assumption out there that the in-laws on the grooms side are nasty which is really not fair!

^yes ur entitled to ur opinion but u said 'pathetic' to her or her comment. its just being very rude to another member of GS. anyhoo, some people presume inlaws to be awful people when a lot arent. my husband has 4 sisters, which means i have 4 nands and i like them all a lot. so although someone here might not like nands, many others do.

bit offensive do you not think to those who actually do have a good relationship with their nands? eg me and my bhabi, as i said above are like sisters. 5 years since theyve been married and weve never ever had a serious fight/argument. Its a shame that some people dont get good nands but dont offend the ones who actually do a good job and make the effort.
