phool gobhi is cauliflower

Canada meN "Karela" bhii kahte haiN...i saw a sign in walmart saying "Indian Karela" :)

as i had mentioned b4...this is a regional variation. we call cabbage as karam kalla in India.

yeah so true and in punjab pakistan it is bandh gobi for cabbage and phool gobi for cauliflower
and as you said regional variations occur

in england we have so many different melons : honeydew,sweet,canteloupe etc.
and now that we get iceburg lettuce in pakistan whenever I say lettuce they all say no this isn’t salaad kay pathay this is iceburg…

iskaa Botanical name hai Nigella Sativa L. aur ise Nigella seed ke 'ilaava ***Black Cumin, Fennel Flower, Roman Coriander seed and Nutmeg Flower seed bhii kahte haiN :)

Here in UK, bhindi is called Okra and Baigan is called Aubergines.
