Recipes on gupshup are quite hard to decipher. I don’t know much about the english names of most of the vegetables and some of the fruits. Also some sausages. Can any body give some link for this problem or give some names him\herself.

okra is hindi word i think not in english.

Great thread , I think it should be made sticky .
Loung = Clove
Dar cheeni = Cinamon
Bay leaf = Tez paat
Ajwain = Black seed
sarsoon = Mustard
Podeena= Mint
Hara Dhania = Cilantro
Louki = Gourd
Tori or Turai = Zucchini

I am writing from my memory . I will add more later on. If you have some specific things to ask about please let us know.
