Okay so my friend just got married and she was wondering if she should change her surname to her husbands..her inlaws wants her to change her name which she doesnt mind but we dont know how it should be like its lil confusing for us so I thought let me ask youuu and youuu yes you out there lol :stuck_out_tongue: since you guys are really helpful:)

So my friends name is **Sadiya Shahid **and her Husband names **Mirza Manzoor Baig **please help us decide the name as we have no idea!

Should it be

-Sadiya Shahid Baig
-Sadiya Manzoor Baig
-Sadiya Shahid Manzoor

or if theres anything else **

She shouldn't change her name just because her inlaws want to.

Also Islamically she doesn't have to..(and is not preferred)

Yes Kakee she doesnt have to Islamically but she doesnt mind changing it.

I know the name is really confusing and it becomes really long Sadiya Shahid Manzoor Baig or Sadiya Mirza Manzoor Baig Shahid
these are way too long

Where does your friend live? If it’s outside Pakistan, she should take in account name change legalities and such

Keep it simple, stay with given birth/fathers name
