Okay so my friend just got married and she was wondering if she should change her surname to her husbands..her inlaws wants her to change her name which she doesnt mind but we dont know how it should be like its lil confusing for us so I thought let me ask youuu and youuu yes you out there lol :p since you guys are really helpful:)

So my friends name is **Sadiya Shahid **and her Husband names **Mirza Manzoor Baig **please help us decide the name as we have no idea!

Should it be

sadiya is her name and baig is husband family name

If she really wants to change the name then she should go with husband's family name as her last name (which in this case I suppose it is Baig), hopefully the entire family will then have the same last name. I don't see any other purpose of changing last name.
