Lately I have become quite a fan of online stores for home interiors, because there is a huge variety, nevertheless I still have my old time favourite stores from where I never come out empty handed!
Those of you over the Atlantic ocean, I love your store Bloomingdales!
Also, everyone in Pakistan, can you please tell us your favourite place especially for pakistani handicrafts! I love a place called ‘Lok Virsa’ in Islamabad!:k:

John Lewis is most certainly the most rocking ever variety wise .. but it is so freaking expensive ..
Followed by Matalan .. they have a very small collection but they keep really good things …
I think my favourite ever shopping spot for interiors will remain Dubai … awesome prices and awesome variety … this year when i went home I just went crazy shopping and wanted to bring so much more only if the airliner allowed me :hinna:

Really? Dubai is still cheap? I found it quite expensive when we were there last year. Maybe we were in the touristy areas thats why...
Although yes they have absolutely beautiful things, especially the arabic and moorish style stuff.
CB you know many bargain places there then?? Please share them!
Yes I like Matalan and stores like Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys also get good stuff sometimes.

Miss F , yes the bargain places in dubai are the smaller stores .. they get things in wholesale and sometimes they are so beautiful ..
I got all of my artificial flower collection from a mall called Discount center ... and another one called Ansar Mall ( which is slightly pricey )
I always visit all the "everything 5 dhs or 10 dhs" stores ... one of them is in Ajman .. few others in Sharjah ... they have awesome stuff ...

I heart TK Maxx / Homesense for home interior stuff. I hate the other departments though, the clothes rails always look like a jumble sale but the home section is always lovely. I just bought some Ralph Lauren bedding in there and it was the same price as the bedding I'd purchased from Debenhams last year.
I never understood what kind of shop The Range is actually meant to be as they seem to sell a very eclectic mix of items.....wet suits to crafts materials to bedroom furniture to fishtanks....very bizzare.

They have some good tableware but you have to visit 2 or 3 different shops coz each store keeps different stuff....oh and I love their vases.

Aaah that explains it ... the one in my city is totally yukh ... I tried going there a few times but got disappointed everytime ... I must say though, that the crockery , just some of it ... is really good there but its really expensive too ..

which reminds me I was heart broken when I heard first that TJ hughes was closing down :( ... I still miss them tonns , I used to love their glass collection and their crockery .. and vases and rugs and ... the list is never ending :(
