Name changing after marriage

Before i met my fiance i always thought i would always keep my family surname, but by luck he has the same surname as me so no name change hassle for me woo hoo x

Re: Name changing after marriage

I guess that depends on the visa requirements of the country you are moving too. Some countries require that the passport should have husband's name instead of father's name however you can keep your maiden name as it is. It takes a week to 10 days for urgent NIC and 6 days for urgent passport.

Re: Name changing after marriage

I am in Pakistan & moving to UK. I might change my name later on officially as well after the VISA processing completes. I hope it doesn't mess it up that my NIC states my status as single?

Re: Name changing after marriage

you can't do that

thats falsifying information which means you'll get deported.
if you're married you have to change your documents
if you want to change your name you have to change your documents + passport etc.
