I wrote this too but deleted, well,I always reply them that I have never heard any case of karo kari or marriage to Quran ( nauzbilah ) in my life,that’s only in qisay kahaniyan.

And to be very honest it’s true I never heard anything like this in my village or anywhere else in sindh,and no one have more than one wife in our fAmily.

I think Karo-Kari incidents still happen and we should not close our eyes towards that. But there are few incidents of this bad practice, which should not be generalised for overall Sindhi society.

Regarding marriage with Quran, it also seems to me a fairytale love story promoted through Noor ul Huda Shah’s dramas like Jungle. I once read her interview, where she said her script has been taken wrongly and imposed on whole Sindhi society.
