MAGHRIB…raaste mein (while on our way back home)

ESHA…Tv mein (news time)

JUMMA… soney mein (:sleep:)

EID… baazaaron mein (shopping…oh yeah!)

na DUROOD na SALAAM Ye kaisa hai MUSALMAAN???
phir kehte ho ALLAH q nahi hai hm p meherbaan??? (iron ea!)

ps. i saw it somewhere…so decided to share reasoning of our failure as ummah :bummer:

well thread is about namaz, and namaz is farz. i know there are other namaz like thehajad, etc

and about eid, will if people are celebrating eid then dont they have to go for prayers as well. or either the must say we are not celebrating it :bummer:

Well I have not really come across anything which says Eid namaz is fardh. But I pray it because Eid are only 2 occassions out of the whole year where a muslim should celebrate as much as possible and enjoy it to the fullest. I don’t pray Eid because it’s fardh. JahaN pe fardh ki baat aati hai, i have not come across anything, unless someone can show me and convince me :konfused:

Ahadith which tell us that they are fardh and not praying them would be sin?

Hanafi School of thought considers Eid Salah (both) as Waajib ... only difference with Witr is that this one has to be in congregation and you can not pray a qadhaa of it.

Magar Nawaz Sharif ne jummey ki chutti khama kar ke sundey ki chutti shoro kardi, is tarha ab sab log jummey ko office, school waghera jatey hain our jinhoon ne jumma nahi bhi parhna hota unko bhi yaar dost khench khoonch ke ley jatey hian :smiley:
