Oh ok, because the edges are so soft but maybe it's because those parts weren't in contact with the glass. I didn't mean it in a bad way, just taking a guess to how it came about!

^that reminds me. One time, this second-cousin of mine added me on Facebook and I happened to go through his albums and he had a WHOLE album dedicated to women’s FEET and once I checked out the pictures, there were shots of feet with hideous churail-like toenails. Some were just close-ups of feet and others were feet in chappals/heels etc. And he had 50+ pictures. Totally creepy. Needless to say, I unfriended him right there and then.

I didn't even paint my nails on my wedding. I love my hands alhamdulillah. Nobody complained to me, and trust me, our family friends are not shy about voicing their opinions and offering me their makeup lol.

Aaaw, thanks,M. It's only my left hand that I like. My right hand, which is dominant, takes a lot of abuse and doesn't look as nice.....I call it my my "man hand"....and there was a time when I'd only polish my the nails on my left hand, lol.

I keep my nails natural. If they start showing slight white tips, they get cut. My mum goes mad if they're long because her thinking is that dirt gets under them. I suppose she's right in my case because I'd never clean them. And I rarely put nail polish on them because it takes me ages taking it all off again. Although I do love nail polish and I'm currently loving the colour red.

Milly: Up until I was 19ish, I had a horrible problem with nail biting. My nails were outright disgusting b/c I used to chew/bite them off. 3rd year in college.....I started noticing other girls "nice" nails and started really being embarrased about mine. That's when I also started applying for professional internships and started paying attention to how professional women dress (especially in my chosen field). I soon realized that my bitten/chewed nails weren't going to help me in gaining any respect in my career. That really forced me to change my way of thinking and gave me willpower strong enough to stop biting. After about 6 months or so....the "urge" to bite went away.
My nails are natural....always has been. I don't plan on ever getting fake nails. I keem them semi-long. When I was 23ish...I started getting manicures/pedicures regularly. Around 27 I realized I was wasting a lot of $$ on that......and started doing my own nails. Since them I've managed to created a mini-collection of polishes and usually do my nails at least once a week (sometimes 2 if they're badly chipped).
U ppl should try shellac much better than arylics n less damaging, protects d natural nail unlike arylics

I love getting my nails done. They’re short though, i used to enjoy longer nails… but they look dirty, haha. Also, my nails are really weak, they chip really fast. =/ I hate it. Hate fake nails cos they damage my nails, and look fake.

Here is how I keep mine. They’re normally the length that I have in the mint green polish but sometimes they get a bit long like the way they look in the red polish. I dont like them that long, though.

LOL....you're a lucky woman to have such nice bosses and clients! I look forward to having your "job" someday. :)
As for the nails....do you put polish on them? Or do you usually keep them totally bare and they break? With my nails....I use Nailtek II as base. I apply that, put 2 coats of polish, and them use Seche Viche top coat. Honestly, without the 4 layers of polish....my nails also break easily if left bare. If you have no tried this already....this might help. And if you don't want to put colored polish....you can even trying putting several coats of just clear polish to see if that helps at all. :)

I need to take care of my hands more. I never paint em though. How can we keep nails and hands looking nice without any nail polish not gen clear?

How do you make nails stronger? I can't grow my nails at all. I prefer shorter nails but they just chip so fast. =/
