How many of you guys get regular acrylics or gels?

I always have em natural and short.. cant stand anything on them. i have extremely white tips though so people think im wearing fake nails or something.

natural. i'm same as sannaabc - one coat of clear varnish and people think i've had a french manicure.
i only like acrylics if they look like natural nails.

I recently had acrylics done for the second time in my life and 90% of the people who saw them couldn't tell they were fake nails.
Iv only had them on a week and im itching to take them off...they are heavy :(

I like my nails long to a certain extent. I don’t like fake nails…and I just got into getting manicures this year. The one in the pic is a gel french manicure. It was my first time getting gel polish and I like the hardness/longevity of it.

I dont usually get gel nails done, but when I do I get them short/medium. When I keep my natural nails, which is most of the time, I keep them a medium length, but not too much past the top of my finger.

RV your nails have a nice shape to them! I hardly ever get acrylic nails cos I dont think they suit me, and I tend to just grow my nails to no longer than around 5mm to keep them short and easier to manage. Rarely wear nail varnish except for weddings etc

what kind of acrylics do yall have done for them to look natural? cz whatever I see..they look really really really fake...I used to get them a couple of times a year but now its like..I get em maybe 1x a year max..

I keep them semi-long. Nothing too long because they can look very...churailish. And I need to keep them long slightly because my fingers are so chubbeh' so longer nails slenderize them. :)

Thanks, MH....first time I've put a pic up on GS and it went well, lol. I've always grown them out in a round shape, but I had the manicurist file them more square...and I prefer it that way now.

i keep my nails long but not extreeeemely long! and every few weeks i'll cut them completely so they can grow out again! love painting my nails. Ive NEVER had fakes done but for my wedding i will be! I am excited though and I'm gonna get them natural length. One of my friends has these horrible tacky long nails and she's always clicking them against things and it IRRITATES me LOL

i went through a phase of slightly long nails
but now i keep my nails cut and clean. but i love putting nail varnish on when i can get a moment to ^___^ preferably greys purples yellows and reds yaayy

My cell phone isn't charged, I don't have the camera. Yes, I DID scan it, Stoppit...as you can tell by the smushed area in one corner of my hand which would come from pressing it against a flat surface. But NO, I did not airbrush it.....why would you assume so? There are others who also put their pics up.......for me this is my first time.....but I've never seen others on here asked if their pics were airbrushed.
