**i was one for about two years in high school and then one day i gave up cold turkey (Sounds like giving up smoking :hehe:) but its bad habit and because it is a habit forming it does require a lot of will power to give up ,which i hv :snooty:

gave up cuz i cud see everytime i did it and my mother was around there was a pained look on her face and she would sigh kinda like this :hinna:

way ta guilt somebody :bummer:

Long time ago I once bit my nails in the presence of elders… I got two slaps and an order never to chew my flesh and hair again! :aj: You see your nails are made from the same stuff as your hair…

You wouldn’t chew your hair would you?

Anyway… I cant stand nail biting or long nails… what a dilema hey? Shukar Allah that we have stones and metals. :smiley:

tips for all nail biters.. dip you nails in red mirch or even ginger paste apparently it helps (didnt help me though, i was a nail biter for over 10 years :@:) .. :omg:
