In our society, new brides are usually treated like princess and first few weeks are tension free. But after certain time, let say one month, charge of kitchen activities is transfered by asking them to make sweet dish/kher. I think it is sweet way of realization of their real work. what would you say and what does happen in your family.

Due to such treatments some hadharam girls always behave like a dulhan in in-laws until separated

a day is decided by consultation of of both families. throw a small family party. dulhan was asked to prepare kheer, if she dont know then asked to do few easy task for the preparation of kheer. there are also many dishes, if bride wants to cook them they are always welcome, but basically it is just family dawat and indication of time to take responsibilities of kitchen and other chores of household.

my csn sisters best frnd got married recently and right the next day her hubby told her..mujhey bahir ka khana nahi pasand…tum pakao ya mai paka longa
