Nabi ki booti

A lot of people who go for Umrah or Hajj bring back this Mohammad ki booti which you have to grind and it becomes powder and then put in milk and drink. Anyone used this? I have heard a lot about this and was curious :S

Please dont get confused with the flower which some people bring which is supposed to open when women gives birth and make birth easier for her?..I think thats called Maryam panjaa or something..they all have their own names :s

Re: Nabi ki booti

What's it for?

Tabu, speaking from experience, if you're ttc and frustrated, see a specialist. You'll feel much better.

Re: Nabi ki booti

Thanks Sahara, I will inshallah speak to a doc when the time comes but someone was discussing this with me so thought I'd find out every1s opinion on this..

Re: Nabi ki booti

how come I have never heard of such a thing? the only thing I know of that people bring or shoud bring is zam zam n ajwa dates.. when you have thse with religious significance and background, why do you need these other things?

the purpose of umrah n hajj is to visit Allah's house and make dua there.. not come back with nabi ki booti or whatever the other thing... Personally I dun believe that such things exist.. ignorance at its peak!

Re: Nabi ki booti

well thats the thing, i reckon this cud be a made up thing... but Allah knows best...

Re: Nabi ki booti

I've never heard of Nabi ki booti, but i've heard of Bibi Maryam's flower.. apparently it opens up gradually while a woman goes into labour & the opening of the flower tells u approximately how much the woman is dilated, the flower opens up fully when a baby is born. It's put in a jug of water & your'e meant to pray along side with it. I'm not sure whether its true or not but i've heard of this.

Re: Nabi ki booti

never heard of this booti thing.. but the flower one is true... seen it with my chachi with all 6 of her kids. its not meant to help in labour or anything of that sorts nor does it have a religious significance.. its just something to show how soon a woman will have her kid...

i never bothered with it with my own delivery ... but its definately a cool thing to watch!

Re: Nabi ki booti

My mom used the flower thing when my first nephew was born.

Re: Nabi ki booti

i used this maryam booti thing for when i had my 1st child u put it into a mix of half milk and water
it opens up as ur contractions grow stronger and as soon as baby is born it fully opens up then as ur 6 weeks finish it closes up again i had heard of it and wanted 2 c what all the fuss was about rather cool i say xx i think it repersents yoyr womb maybe im wrong

Re: Nabi ki booti

ths is so amazing and fascinating but i fail to understand how exactly i mean logically its happening... dun think it can b coincidence but then how is it actually happening. beats me!!

Re: Nabi ki booti

I have heard about the nabi ki booti for people ttc.

Re: Nabi ki booti

i have also heard of maryam booti - but as someone previously said, it's used when the mother goes into labor. nabi ki booti (from what i've read elsewhere) can be used to help a woman conceive. from what i have read, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave it to a man who was trying to conceive a child with his wife and was until then unsuccessful.

does anyone know exactly how to use it? if its suppose to be drank with milk, how much powder is used, etc.?

thanks much in advance!

Re: Nabi ki booti

ladies - no responses? please share your experience/what you've heard! thanks.

Re: Nabi ki booti

my sister in law went to haj this year and brought nabi ki booti and some baajray ke danay that people throw in haram shaareef for birds. I am gonna try both of these to see if it works because people over there believe that these two things help you get pregnant..

Re: Nabi ki booti

^ you guys are seriously funny. Lol.

I don’t know about Nabbi Ki Booti but I am a firm believer in Maryam ka phool. Dude it got me dilated from a 1 1/2 to 9 in 45 minutes & no I do not call it a coincidence. Even the hospital staff was like what the heck. They were taking pictures holding the “Mary’s flower” It does speed up your labor. Also it opens up completely when the baby is born.

We recently put it in water for our sister in law who went in labor in KSA. It was day time here & the flower opened up after an hour or so & it turns out the time the flower opened up is when she had her son.

Also the Maryam ka Phool is reusable & can be used by more than one woman.

Here is a picture of what it looks like before & after.

p.s My bad for going off topic.
