So you think if you call him an 'idiot' that will settle the score? If he was wrong to assume that you have another nick, weren't you stooping to the same level by name-calling?
Mods are not here to take sides. We are only here to ensure that the discussion boards remain just that - discussion boards. We can't allow members to start insulting each other or fighting amongst themselves. This will defeat the purpose.
For this, the cooperation of all members is required. You all need to control your tempers and respond in a rational, logical way. If you feel you have been personally attacked, you should complain to the admin/mods of the forum for them to take action.
We are conerned with the suitability and decency of the posts. Do not expect the mods to personally vouch for the accuracy of every statement made here. The opinions and views are of the members and it is for the members to debate and examine the opinions. Don't expect the mods to do that all the time. Mods, as members of these forums, also take part in the debates and render their own opinon. You may agree with them or not. The right to disagree is inherent in these forums and you will never be warned/banned for having a different perspective. Members do get warnings when they fail to present their opinions in a decent and acceptable manner. Use of swearing and insulting language in these forums is not allowed. Those who don't like this rule are free to go elsewhere.
It has happened MANY times, right here in religion forum.
MM0, Paglu, and many others have continue to do what they do best - insult me with labeling sectarian names, and other offensive names. I never see ANYONE from the BIGGIE clan warn them or do anything so they may stop. But right at the moment when I say something, they warn me. I mean I AM A HUMAN TO JUST LIKE MODS AND OTHER PEOPLE HERE. I ask a question, they get angry and than “personally-attack” me with offensive names, and than a mods like you comes over once in a while and says its nothing but combination of 2 words? Well to you it might not have any meanings but to me being a human its offensive and I do not like it.
YOu did not answer my question. What if I call someone “apple-john” what would you call that? Would you say those are combination of 2 words or a combination of 2 words which means “you are a toilet”?
Anyway, I don’t like “laluu-panjuu’s” coming in here and ruining every other posts in which We have asked some logical questions which THEY cannot answer.
I will give a respectful reply when other side is respectful. I will respect you given that you will respect me in return. Sounds fair, doesn’t it? Good.
PS: Again, trouble has always started from the other side, I had/have always asked the hard questions, I guess.
For the moment, we are keeping it all intact. No one is specifically warned at this point.
The Religion Forum should be used to conduct debates and present opinions on religious matters. No matter how correct one feels their opinion is, does not give any member a right to insult another member.
Any member found using abusive language against any member may be penalized with or without warning. Inflammatory threads will be deleted at once. All complaints about personal insults and inappropriate threads should be directed to [email protected]
Please remember that mods do not monitor the forums 24/7. All complaints will be taken care of as soon as possible.
