I just came back from pakistan and on tv there I heard many naats by a kid who had a really good voice. He seemed to be really popular and I really loved his naat. I wanted to know if someone knows his name. One of his naats were “Hum ko bulana ya Rasool Allah.” Can someone tell me where I can find his naats online? Thanks
Re: Naat question
i'm not a big fan of naats that are recited in pak because of the shirki content. From the title of this naat, it seem this naat is one of those shirki naats so i would suggest you to not to worry about finding it.
Re: Naat question
What the heck does shirki mean?
And don't be so quick to deem something as shirk. Labelling something to be shirk when it's really not is a sin itself so becareful mufti saab.
I also suggest you not to judge others when only Allah (SWT) knows their intentions. I hope you take my advice into consideration.
Re: Naat question
His last name is probably Qadri not that it'll help lol.

point is noted believer in Islam but don't forget that our amal can only be accepted in the sight of Allah if the both, action And the intention, are halal. E.g. of good intention but haram action is, stealing money from rich and giving to poor!
The other thing i don't get about naats is why they always revolve around Prophet's(SAW) roza mubarak or the madina. Is Prophet's(SAW) roza mubarak more sacred than Khana Kaba? I never have heard one naat from a paki naat reciter which talks about Khana Kaba or Makaah! Isn't this sad?

Naats are meants to revolve around The Prophet(SAW). Everything about Allah, Khana Kaba or Makaah is known as Hamd.

Farhan Ali Qadri is my friend's relative. I really love those naats.
Naat and Qawwali are the true message of Sufia-e-karam (Lal Shahbaz Qalander, Data Sahib and other walis).
It really makes one cry and think aout our dear Prophet (s.w).

Re: Naat question
Then why do you people send ahmadies to jails when they recite “kalma” ? At that time all you so called “TRUE MUSLIMS” say that when ahmadies recite kalma they misinterpret the meaning of Prophet SAW. how come you guys judge what their intentions are when they recite it ??? Double standards ![]()

I think because, Madad to Allah SWT hi kerta hey. How could you ask for help form Prophet SAW ? You could say like , "Ya Allah, Rasool SAW ke wastey hamari madad ker"... but asking for help from some one other then Allah is like Shirk
Re: Naat question
I thought it was the same thing, you just don’t take word to word meaning.
Re: Naat question
Well you thought wrong. Its shirk to pray to someone else. Isn't this what the Christains do....praying and asking Jesus for help? They got branded unbelievers for this act of theirs....and now muslims are doing the same thing with Prophet Muhammad.
As far as the Waseelah, asking the Prophet's intercession in dua, is concerned that shirk too...since the Prophet (sas) said.."Dua is a form of Ibadah." and calling out for someone else, along with Allah, in Ibadah is shirk.
Secondly if you go back in history...you'd find the Kuffar's of Quraish using their idols for similar purpose too. They would say, these idols intercede with Allah...so their idols were basically intermediaries and that Allah would accept their dua through them.
So praying to anyone else, or praying to Allah throught any dead saint, prophet or anyother being that is absent is shirk and completely forbidden.
