I just saw part of Islamic based talk show on ARY. Don’t know the name .. its by one mufti with turban on his head.
He basically answers the questions asked by coming in calls by the public. So, someone asked him about washing a ‘Napaak’ kapra in a washing machine with other ‘non-napak’ kapra, will that ‘Napaak’ kapraa make other clothes Napaak too?
The Mufti answered that yes it will and gave reasonin such as washing machine dont use enuff water and if it does then uses same water n blah blah .. neways that reasonin was beyound my understandin. I thought it shouldn’t matter as long as u wash em but after listenin to him I really don’t know wat to make outta this.
The mufti also mentioned even if u wash ur napaak clothes with non-napaak clothes … both will get napaak and will stay napaak until u wash em separately
so, just wana ask how many of u heard such stuff b4? wats ur opinion? And no the mufti didnt give any ahaadith reference or such.
Did maulana Bin Falaana (thanks PA), know that washing machines have a final rinse cycle? basically, clothes go through this;
Soak
Wash with foam
Rinse
Final Rinse
Even if the paak and naapaak mix at some stage they all become naapaak. Fine. But they do get washed just like a naapaak item would get washed on its own. You catch the drift. So let us assume that all the clothes in the beginning of the wash cycle are naapaak. They all get washed and become paak. So what is this Mullah talking about?
I bet the tv mullahs get a kick out of answering such ridiculous questions. They probably gain a few pounds with happiness that there still exist stupid people who would ask them such questions. Come to think of it, these mullahs are best answering such trivial questions anyway.
If the washing machine regularly changes the water in it, (unlike washing machines using chemicals for many washes) then the impure clothes in it will be purified.
NIce to see ppl ridiculing mullahs, when they themselves dont know the correct rites of Islam either
SO instead of ridiculing what he says, why dont u put forward ur own authentic ways of cleaning up napaak clothes…have sum respect for those who are trying to make an effort in solving ppl’s problems…ok they might not always make sense, that doesnt mean theyre wrong.
About the napaak thing, I think I heard the same Mulana, Mufti Akmal (??) he said according to Fiqh, u have to soak fully the clothes in a bucket (or anything) and let the water drain while fresh water is added simultaneously…thats how they attain paaki. Then you can put them in the washing machine and the rest of the clothes wont be napaak either.
BulBuli, what are you talking about? My explanation above is so good it can be patented and guess what I will let all the TV mullahs use it without paying me the royalty. Read it again.
Laagta hai Mullah nay woh misaal soon lee hoo gaye ek Gandi Machli(fish)pooray talaab ko ganda kar deeti hai is liye is ko Mazhab ka hissa bana dia Bhoot Khoob bhai Bhut Khoob is ka matlab hai jo pani hum ghar main istamaal kar rahi hai woh bhi nahi karna chiye kion ke ek ganda Pani ka katra bhi Pooray samandar ko bhi ganda kar daita hoo ga yea bhi illogical baat hai shayaad kisi imam nay nahi kahi warna sab mullah is per imaan lay aty
funguy try reading my explanation too, I said the water has to be drained, while fresh one keeps adding in.... Washing machines drain all the water and then new one comes in :)
intresting…i don’t know how i would i do it but my mom has been doing the mufti’s way:bummer: . She is very particular about this paaki and napaki business so i think it perhaps is more of a psychological thing rather then making napak paak.
Ohhhhhhh our mullahs, unless they contribute their two cents of authority they can’t be happy. Phir hum log sochtay hain ke dunya hum per hansti kiyoon hai.
Yaar to make your naapak kapray paak all you need to do is remove the napaaki even if you can do it without washing the whole clothes. Centuries ago they didn’t even have anything to kill bacteria resulting from napaaki as we do today, they simply washed with water. Detergents make it not only paak but more hygeinic as well. See our mullahs when questioned take on the responsibility to provide guidance whether they are capable of it or not. If the washer does not drain the water I might agree with the mullah but if he had ever washed his own clothes he could not have given such a ridiculous answer. Perhaps he mistook washer for dhobi …
