True…the spouse should have the authority. But don’t you think that there should be some clause that suggests there be proof of what those wishes were? From what I understand, there is no written or taped will. Just the words of a man that would lose a hell of a lot if he had to get a divorce. The words of a man that ate away the million dollar settlement from a malpractice suit that should rightfully have been put towards his disabled wife’s rehabilitation.
