i am sure if your parents can gift you a house, they can very much afford a wedding planner too, no? seems like an expandable budget to me- don't know why you're even worried about how much who will cost.

Catty maybe you should just get the wedding planner and leave the house buying to the hubby. Its kinda embarassing for a guy to live in a house that was bought for him by his in-laws, no? After marriage its his job to provide you with shelter, not your parents :)

no its nt actually like that..my husband is a gp and he moves a lot ....gt transferd and everything!! my parents were gng to spend a lot on the wedding planning jewellery and suits..but i dnt think its a gud idea..i wuld gt a house instead..which is long lasting and wuld help in the long term..and my husband can gt all the other thngs for us

the 4k charge for doing like what groovychick said contacting vendors, doing all the run around work, working within your budget, etc making what you want to happen happen within you budget.

plus if you look at the tent, you can also see how much work is involved in setting up the lights and the tables, etc.... oftentimes, the planners dont just coordinate, they also bring in people to set these things up. in the end, labour is what costs equally as much as the materials you use.

i agree. i aam glad we did it witha planner bec. she taught us things that saved us money in the end. like the hyatt was asking for 1000 for plasma tv's but she told us the DJ is required to bring a project/screen

hey pakifairy, all seems gorgeous, wish u all the best, when is the wedding? mines in march. i have a wedding planner and got her for free!!!! my hubbies a business development co-ordinator and he pulled in a favour from a girl who he helped set up her wedding planning business, so iv saved alot on my centre pieces and overall set up etc as she has given us some stuff cost price, she'll be there to manage everything, but i think if u can find a decent priced one its good to have, save the bride and groom for any headache! its all for the great pictures and video we have at the end of the memory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

large bowls with sea green water and white floating candles and flowers to go with that. favours are silver/white with sea green ribbons - my dress is from maria b and has sea green piping so hence the colour! plus white/silver menus
walima - table mirrors with tea pink candles, vase with tea pink/cream flowers with bear grass, tea pink/cream favours and cream/teap ink petals
cant believe there is no time left!
