My wedding 'stuff'

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

like i said to someone, i am glad it's only once in a life time thing.

Re: My wedding ‘stuff’

Sahar, thats really funny. Your poor husband! :hehe:

Shinoo, when can we see the rest of your stuff?

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

I find nothing romantic about a traumatized hubby :o

I would personally like to have straight flowy hair than that whole bun thing, do u have to do your hair? and then i want my hair completely covered so i guess i can skip the hair-do

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

Even with a hijaab or completely covered hair some kind of hair updo or bun is important cause if you dont do that then the dupatta really sits flat around the face and it looks not so flattering. I have seen that happen at 2 weddings here and it really took away from the bride.
I wonder why the hair stylist used a fake wad of hair, unless the hair is really thin it can be teased with hair spray to have more volume and hold. My cousin has barely shoulder length hair and even that was converted into a cute updo for her mangni.

Re: My wedding ‘stuff’

I am sorry since I just realized that too… ummm how about sending an email to them if they could show you some of their outfits???

Re: My wedding ‘stuff’

Ira if all goes well my in laws will be here on Saturday. Mum is planning to show everything to them so I’ll make sure I sit ready with my camera. So hopefully in a few days

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

Your mom is showing every thing to your inlaws??

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

^Yes sooraj-mukhi, we did their part of the shopping aswell while we were in Pakistan. So we'll show them what we got from their 'side'.

Re: My wedding ‘stuff’

shinoo
oh I can’t wait for u
to post your clothes?

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

I know! I didn't want an up-do for my wedding either, but the make-up artist insisted on it cuz of how the dupatta sits. It turned out really nice from the back, but I hated how my hair looked from the front. I hate parting my hair from the middle. :-\

Thankfully, she didn't use fake hair. I'd have thrown a fit if she had.

Shinzi, lovely stuff! Can't wait to see more. And more importantly, can't wait to see you wearing it. hugs

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

I don't like the middle parting either. Unfortunately, the teeka just doesn't look right with a side parting. :(

I think it looked nice on you though CB.

Most brides look like proper princesses with the end result, middle part, fake hair, etc.

Re: My wedding ‘stuff’

INSHALLAH everything will go well. speically the part when u will take pics of ur stuff, and we getting to see the pics:cb:

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

yeh that's a good idea too, but i was thinking that if their website is not working, their email address might have problems too, but i guess it worth trying.
i will let u know what they said:D

Re: My wedding ‘stuff’
