which day makeup was it?? walima or barat, actually i am more worried about my barat makeup cuz i have seen pretty valmia dulhan with their light color dress and their makeup according to their dress look nice sometimes shimmery and feathery, but barat day makeup (that i have seen) is not always really pretty, all the brides look kinda same with dark dark lipsticka and gold shade eyeyshadow
does anyone know if athar shehzad have any sort of branch in karachi, i have seen his makeup on tv (he was applying makeup in that show) and i really liked it.
i don’t want to go to those places, like deplex or rose, shehlaz etc etc, all the brides from there looks same to me:mad: unless the girl is really pretty

Barat day.

It really is a good place. They did a good job on all the brides I saw. The other women prep you and then Ruksana does the make-up herself.

Instead of jhumar in the hair, people are wearing matha pattis instead. a matha patti extends from your teeka and covers your fore head. some extend both sides from teeka and some extend only on one

I got my make-up done from Cistre, which is in the Karachi Sheraton. I was really happy with it. It was dressy but not caked on. Everyone said it looked really nice. The people who worked there were really nice as well. Highly recommended.

Yanzala - I got my engagement makeup done from Laiqa Hassan's and they did a really nice job so I am going to go back there for at least one of my ceremonial days. I would recommend them!

I got my make up done from Madheeha and Ather Shehzad… they’re both like really good.. i went to ather shehzar on the walima and shehzad said madeeha was really good as well… so yeah check them out :k:

wow I didn’t know Ather Shehzad were still doing bridal makeups! My friend’s sis got hers done from Shehzad about 4 years ago and he did a superb job with her too!

^ yeah they still do bridal makeup... but the day i went i think, he only did me and another model... his assistants did everyone else.. shehzad does such a fantastic job though... he's amazing and he's such a perfectionist! he wont over do anything... everything is just right... i liked ather too... he did pretty natural shots of me and hubster.. i cant wait to see the albums....!!

I think it is around Clifton?? I am not good w/ places in Khi since I've only been there a few times since my grown up days. I have this fear every time I go to Khi that I'll get lost and won't know how to find my way back home - ok Off Topic!
If you have cousins/family in Khi ask them to search for Laiqa Hasan's salon and make an appt for a test/trial run.

Hey guys, i wrote to hsystudio and they replied back within a few days. They have an offer that if you buy a bridal outfit you get a men sherwani half price. They also have a jewellery line out too............

The design of ur maatha patti is nice wat is the average price one wud have 2 pay 2 get it designed and made.

Noorah, the teeka came with the set. I added the beads and some more gold. I can’t tell you what the price was cuz I don’t know myself! I think on the whole getting the maatha patti made costed us a few thousand Rs. extra.

Clifton will be too far for me:( but i still like the idea of trial makeup done.
i have decided that i will go to that place sahar told me (ugh! can’t think of that name again:mad: ) for my barat makeup. still not sure about valima, i want to go to 2 different places for both days. i might try laiqa hassan for my valima.
