Hi everyone…so my wedding is in march inshallah…have booked my mehendi and wedding venues… parlour…dresses…caterers etc
now the issue is:
MEHENDI
We have planned a mehendi which would have touches of mughal theme…so m wearing an anarkali and so r most of my cousins and frnds the colours for the mehendi are red and green but i aim confused abt the mehendi decorations i dont want yellow yet i cant do it red and green as everyone would be wearing it and thing will get really confusing so 1. can u guys plz suggest a nice colour for the decor maybe rust, orange,maroon or green??? and post pix too
2. ideas on how i can add mughal touch/? ( i have been going through umraojaan and jodha akbar’s pix lolzz)
We plan to give out paan as wedding favours on mehendi 
my dress has more of yellow and a lil touch of green n red to match the theme (oh this reminds me i hafto get my chooriyan tooooo 
)
BARAT
For barat we have gharara/lehngas as a dress code for the unmarried girls and saris for the married ones and my cousins n frnds r nice enough not to wear red as i will be wearing tht lol …I am planning to go for afzals for my shoot and makeup will be by seemis who did my engagement makeup…I am thinking to keep the decor all in white and gold and will add red just in the center pieces …so would like some decent gold and white decor pix from u guys specially inside a hall ummmmm thts it for now i think will bother u guys later.

Stylo.. I'd suggest not to have red in decor if ur gona do that for ur Barat too... just let it alone b yellow and green(for Mehndi) the traditional colours..or for the Barat u can go for maroonish then red should b fine for Mehndi just to differentiate..

How about if u just have red and green for the Mehndi decor..? That'll look nice to make it more colourful u may add bits of yellow and orange or may b hot pink..

yeah i was thinking of adding hotpink too i dunow i would like to have red n green but then it wont be fair to all those wearing red n green???

^ i think the colors for mehndi should be btw golds/ deep reds/ organs and hotpinks…i have seen a wedding on www.weddingsutra.com.

If you dont want yellow try green and gold thats wut i would choose...Its an elegant combo.

I like ur idea for baraat.. mostly gold and white with some tuches of red will look nice.
