I think most of their formals are under 1lakh. The ones i asked for were usually around 65-85 000.. There are some for 45 000 too and even less too.
These two are for 45.000

Thanks Miea! - That's really good to know. 45,000 for those dresses is really good. Prices in Pakistan keep on going up though and so fast. Each year seems to bring price hikes. Soon I don't think I'm going to be able to afford any of this stuff. Gotta think of ways to make more money! lol

Pariee - if you're coming to Karachi, you should check out Rimjhim. I saw some really good kaam there and very heavy bridals were quoted for 2.5k (which he would;ve brought down after bargaining). So I feel like it is definitely worth a try.

These designers charge hell lot of money! I would never spend that much money on a single day function!
I made my mehndi dress from our family kaarigar.. Its a replica but with some changes.. I got my outfit today and am so much happy with the work.. : )

I completely agree with RimJhim. I'm not from Karachi, rather am in Lahore, but my friend got it made from there and it was a brilliant nomi ansari copy.

Mehndi u can go for a churidar and shorter kameez which Sana Safinaz have brought back, so I’m sure by 5 months later the trends will be more towards open towards them.
With the styling you ca really add some fun into it, with a front braid going into a side plaited paranda. It could be really fun and a twist on the usual paranda hairstyle.
which could flow into something like this:
Maybe use raat ki Raani/Jasmine flowers instead of such big ones? I don’t know I like something that’s a blend of edgy and traditional @ the same time.
U could also opt for the two legged gharara & kammez I know the word differs according to various people on the Barat and maybe a maxi type dress on the valima?

do what i did.. print out pictures of ur fav lehngas and find a good reliable designer in pakistan. doesnt have to be brand name, just look at the quality of the work. give them any picture and im sure they will recreate it exactly :)

I TOTALLY agree with RimJhim in Karachi. I get ALL of my formal dresses from there all the time!! There work are absolutely breath taking. My SIL had a replica on one of Hina B. outfits (2009) from somewhere in tariq road..they messed it up and she only had 2 days to choose another bridal outfit...and where did she end up??...RimJhim...iA my sis also will be getting her replica from there...also Jabeens are the same owner on tariq rd. ..im going in 2 weeks...HAPPY SHOPPING!!! btw, the prices are ridiculous now...even for these little boutiques...my mom there now was quoted 1.5 laks for a "nikkah" outfit...cant afford designers outfit!! LOL
