Hello guys. I am new to the forum and i hope you girls can help me out. I am thinking of going to bunto, dr haroon and sana safinaz for my wedding. But i honestly need to know what their starting prices are. I don’t mind spending, but i don’t like wasting my money either.
Also, bunto has started designing two kinds of bridals, one which are the traditional ones, and the other with that shiny material, also seen recently in the pictures of a wedding where all the sisters wore bunto kazmi. I love both styles. How much does that cost? any idea

hmm.. thats just too much. its a sad thing that these people don't care about the middle class anymore. Just like a simple lawn print starts from 3500 and goes upto 7000. What a shame. inshaAllah ill get something nice made for myself without spending a fortune.

Not really.. There are SS dresses for 2 lakh but they are simple and more like formal wear rather than bridals.. the prices i have posted are prices of a good bridal jora.

miea - thank you, ill definitely check them out, you never know if something good comes up with the price one is looking for :-). My budget doesn't exceed more than 2.5. I'll roam around the entire karachi and lahore if i have too :-P but i shall find my dream dress!!

I got that very sad reality check a month or two ago as well when I started my bridal hunt as I really wanted Sana Safinaz for my wedding but unfortunately their main bridals start from 4.25 lakhs at least. I think a 3.5 lakh bridal from them would be very light. I completely understand what you mean by the pricing for these bridals...its outrageous but these designers charge for their name moreso than the work. I mean the work is definitely exquisite but at the same time who can afford to pay this much? Not me! and even if I had that kind of money I would feel kinda guilty spending that much on one day!
My budget is a little less than yours and i'm trying to talk to some lower end designers or people who aren't as mainstream yet but still good and willing to work within your budget. I think 2.5 lakhs is plenty for designers like that so you should be fine. iA your bridal will be gorgeous! :)

I’ll definitely visit these places and keep the suggestions coming. I have about 2 months before i start the preparations, i guess that is enough time for me to settle for something as i am extremely indecisive and veryyy picky . A good karigar, few good sketches or samples is what i need. dekhety hain.. fingers crossed
