Well borrowing from Roman’s book i want to cause as much trouble as possible. I see this as a simple racist hate crime.
The guy in question had brown skin. He was wearing a coat and was running from the police. They caught him. Pinned him to the ground and felt he could do with more iron in his blood so added 5 bullets to his head.
Now what proof did they have? None. Why? Because Scotland Yard just said he was not involved at all.
So why was he chased down and shot? What was the proof? Brown skin…hmmm…wait pakis have a brown skin right?..hmmm…most pakis are muslims…and the terrorist were muslims as well…he is wearing a coat. Damn it he is a suicide bomber. Get’em boys.
The jump that was made was simple. Brown guy with a coat was walking around London. Fair enough to shoot him 5 times in the head and torso.
Welcome to the new acceptible racism. Europe and the US have persecuted miniroities of color for centuries. 50 years do not change societal habits established for centuries on which their superoirty is based.
I wish my muslim brothers and sisters in the west the best. Who knows next time it could be one of us in a coat running to catch a subway because we don’t want to be late for work.
The cops are generally known for being racist. It was only the other day, sir ian blair was asking muslims to join up. With that kind of behaviour rampant in the force, i dont think he'll be getting too far.
I agree with Ma Mooli. The British police are well known for being racist. If anybody saw the documentary by the undercover BBC journalist in 2003 called The Secret Policeman, you will have more of an idea of just how sick some of the cops in Britain are, and their views and attitudes towards Pakistanis is beyond disturbing. What happened on July 7 has only given such policeman an excuse to do something about the intense hatred they feel towards Asians. I find it very hard to believe that they had no choice but to shoot him since he got on a train. They didn't mind him travelling on the No. 2 bus to the train station. Why shoot on him on the train then, especially in such a manner?
The suspect running away and shooting him while in motion would still make somewhat sense. However, pinning him down on the ground and popping 5 bullets in his head while he's on the ground does not make any sense whatsoever.
Should they not have arrested him and perhaps questioned him instead?
Since when has it become legal for the cops to shoot someone in custody, especially when the suspect has not been proven guilty of anything.
It’s not just the cops, racism is prevalent in all tiers of White British society. Don’t judge them by the few well-mannered people you interact with on a professional basis, because the vast majority of them are really quite racist, however there are some truly good people amongst them but they are a small minority.
We are quick to criticise our own people for being politically incorrect when amongst themselves but White people are no better when amongst their own cliques, only they conceal their true personality when around us, very two faced, don’t be fooled by their kindnesses.
If it hadn't been for second and third generation Pakis keeping check on these goray it would have been hell over here, like in the days of first generation immigrant Pakis who couldn't stand up for themselves and were treated like crap, now goray be scared so they know not to mess.
What hasn't been mentioned so far is that the Brazilian shot dead was tailed as soon as he left the house. He was allowed to board a bus and travel for 15 mins despite the fact he was a 'suspect' and there had been two explosions on buses before.
Now it's also emerging there are winesses who claim there was no warning shouted either at the tube station, so no wonder the guy started running when a bunch of guys in plain clothes pointed a gun at him. If it HAD turned out to be a muslim killed no doubt some sort of militant link could have been established, the fact he was South American kinda threw a spanner in the works for the old Bill.
If you are planning on travelling by tube today I'd suggest wearing a bikini to avoid suspicion if you look remotely muslim. Don't laugh...wearing a puffa jacket in July was enough to get that Brazilian shot. Sikhs should remove turbans as well. Who knows what could be hidden in one of those?
The murder of this Brazilian has made me proud of LAPD - which has had its shares of racial profiling and violating constitutional rights of minorities in inner cities. They have beaten a black man with clubs like a dog (Rodney King), have pushed/shoved and beat a handicapped black young man etc. but they have never shot anyone in cold blood, close range, execution style, in the head.
you guys are forgeting one more fact here. Apparently this guy was under observation for some time and they followed him since he left the house. The question is if he was been followed then why didn’t they stop him before he was entering the tube station? why the Police failed to establish it before the incident that this guy wasn’t a brownie? even then once he was pinned down to ground why they had to shoot him FIVE times in head! (one wasn’t enough?? !)and why this morning Met Police Commissioner failed to respond to the question that in future for such events will there be any warnrning before shooting from unarmed Police officers! and **the main question Why it wasn’t announced before that Police is ordered for shoot to kill! only If ppl knew that Police have rights to shoot on sight ! **
It was just bad luck for the police that the guy turned out to be Brazilian. If he had turned out to be some Ahmed on his way to do his shopping at Tesco's does anyone seriously think he wouldn't have been declared a terrorist? I mean they did try hard enough to pin the tag on Carlos from Brazil until they realised it just wasn't going to be plausible.
they tried to sale it for a day though how long it takes to figureout that he wasn’t a desi! keeping this in mind that he was already followed by unarmed policemen! If he was Mr Ahmed then by now they would have discovered the bomb making instructions in Arabic
apart from his hotspot location, suspicious clothing and wild behavior.....young and brown fits the bill. Your paki martyr brethren of 7/7 only reinforced this mold and fcuked it up for all brownfolk.
the cops obviously wouldn't be alarmed by an old wrinkly white guy. is that racism?
Yes we must take responsibility for they are our brethren. The next time some sikh gets a brick bouncing off his turban remember it’s not the guy who throws the brick who’s at fault, it’s the damn pakis.
1st get your facts right! this “suspicious clothing” you will see in every tube station here! this guy was followed from his HOME and no one bothered to stop him in between! suddenly, when he got into the tube station, he became such a huge threat that he was treated with lead in head! These 7/7 bombers were not Pakis they were Brits, born and breed in UK. The fourth bomber Germaine Lindsay wasn’t Paki either!
you are wrong. nobody dresses like he did. i’ve been on the tubes for the past 3 weeks…it has been very hot the entire time in London, and the tube stations are even hotter.
regardless, that was definitely not the reason for the shooting. His behavior was totally ridiculous, and in a fast-paced situation during a time of high-thread perception…that’s asking to be shot.
if i were to have asked Shehzad Tanweer what is ethnicity was…what do you think he would’ve answered with? which identity do you think he would claim?
