Tropical Mehndi
Saturday 21st March

Here are a few photographs from the home photography team, My mehndi took place on the weekend, I had my Mayoun previously as an intimate event with close family at a marque at home, Mashallah mehndi was fantastic, it went according to plan apart from my husbands side running late more than by an hour!
I had worn a tropical array of colours, Shocking pink dupatta, Dull yellow kameez and Orange Baroshi jamavar 2 legged Gharara, I had a tye-dye net dupatta on top covered in gota work mixing well with the whole outfit.
Professional phtography photos will be up in weeks to come.
My own colours were the theme colours to all the decor, Yellow, Orange and Shocking Pink, I had a traditional wooden Jhoola, backdrops in the similar colours, we had a dolki area infront of me, dinner tables set in green and yellow table covers with wooden rose in green, yellow and orange colours.
Mashallah it was a super fun day! Braat and Ruksati this Sunday! Praying the weather is dry and we have some sunshine, My husband has a helicopter entrance!
Picture above from my Mayoun at home which took place in a lovely decorated marquee.
It is a shame no one took a full length picture of me in my outfit! Apart from the professional photography who got lots of shots due the to the groom’s side being late!
As soon as I get more pictures I wil put it up, below are pictures which show a little more of what the outfit was like, full of Kundan work, gota, kora, dhabka and silk thread work, keeping it light and just right for the mehndi
What a festive and creative theme! I like it. Cup cakes are so fun relaxing and comforting and fun to eat. The idea of cupcakes for weddings is adorbale:) And although you haven't shown your face in the picture as it is hidden behind your dupatta....we can still see you.....and MashaAllah you have very lovely features:) Best wishes for a wonderful wedding and joyous marriage, Aamin:)
i like ur jora... but i think now a days the girls are too much chamak dhamak for mehndi... it should be more decent, so the dulhan can shine more on the shadi day!
