The reply is there in todays innings, do you really think Umar has the patience or character to stand and play an innings of this sort. I have never doubted his class but he has no patience and cannot play according to the demands of the game. Recent innings in India is an example when Pakistan required him to stay at the wicket he threw his wicket away. A player of his talent should be doing better, and had he been here he would not have lasted any length of time. he has more class than Asad but Asad can stay at the wicket and graft, he cannot.
