how ru you doing this Gina? Are you having trouble using the image upload feature on the quickmenu to the right of the screen? So long as your file is not too big and the attachment is a JPG image you should be fine.

i wanted to go to pakistan this summer and get it ordered but my mom thinks its a waste of money to go but my wedding will be in january inshallah so i won't really have time :(

one month?? no way. not with the current political climate and all the hungama's... definitely at least 3 months.
although it depends on if you get the kaam already done and just stitch it, then yeah, a month. but if you're ordering something from scratch, its gonna take longer.

yep it had a hint of pink but it was amazing in real life, shined sooooooooooo much guys, she was the first one round our city who broke all typical traditions! I got the same make up gyal for my wedding tooooooooooo xxxx

maria b did make mine in 3 weeks, delivered early and made alterations on time, maybe it was a quiet time for them?

i’m so picky meh i can’t have it ordered on the phone or whatever from here…i wanna go in advance and get it made like you did but parents meh its hard to make them understand
my mom was giving me rediculous ideas like ordering my dress online !!! .

Depends on the season =) It's best to order u're dress well in advance so u may make any changes or alterations..and get the perfect fit! You shud also check the lining..u're dress shud be comfortable since u'll be wearing it for a long time =)

don’t do it online… its hard to get colours right and we all heard how shifty bargello ended up being.

if you need to, call up the designers themselves and order it via phone, but make sure you send them colour swatches and plenty of pics that show your personal style and what you like, and what you absolutely hate. the more organised and focused you are, the less room there is for mess up’s.

I agreed with groovy chick, i went in november, most places will frown when u say one month, as I only had a month, but they are so keen on the order that they will try and do it quicker.........a tip is to always give a few days earlier than u need it so any adjustments can be made. I ordered my maria b lengha on the saturday 3 weeks before i was due back, got it 3 weeks later and had a few days left for them to adjust it. they make a prototype first for u to try before the lengha gets made,

yeah but that's maria b and they're obviously a properly run couture house... if you go to somewhere in tariq road, its more dependent on the political climate and hungama situation than the speed of the workers, and they won't make a template for you either. boo!
and especially if you're ordering it long distance, make sure you tell them your wedding is a month or even 2 months before it actually is, so it gets to you on time and you still have the option of alterations if you dont like something or if it doesnt fit properly.

yes thats true, i did get my walima one from think pink and i got that in two weeks...........but that doesnt have a lot of kaam on it - depends on who u are dealin with xxxxxxxxxxxxx

so do you think its the same in karachi??
i'm considering maria b or instead getting it made like SGC did
is there something similar to Think Pink in karachi?
