Re: My rant on the defense day
Thanks for admitting that Indian politicians do get votes for spewing anti Pakistan hatred. The hatred and war hysteria is institutionalised in India and part of their democratic process. We haven’t had proper democratic cycles, but our electoral process and priorities already looks so much better than Indians. Laal Topi wala was a Youtube sensation who was far more popular with Indian public than Pakistanis, but in India such characters are part of your parliament and public votes for them. In Pakistan, war with India has never been part of our popular political debates, if example of election is not relevant for you. We have developed nukes, and this is our deterrence. It is India who is so insecure and desperate that their ministers need to brag about surgical strikes to make themselves feel superior.
The Indians I know are born and bred Westerners and coconuts, they don’t care about politics. Most of them are South Indians anyway, they themselves admit that Hindi speaking Northerners are the real war-mongers, but that’s besides the point so lets keep my Indian buddies are out of this discussion.
But if Indians don’t care about starting a war with Pakistan or aren’t blinded by hatred, then why so much war hysteria and anti Pakistan hatred in their media? Why their elected leaders feel the need to talk about indirect or direct war with Pakistan every week? Who are they representing if not Indians? If Indians don’t think and feel like this, then why no self reflection, opposition is going against such war mongering and hatred against your neighbour? Why such provocation is being allowed and accepted? If Indians elected Modi for development then why is his government allowed to provoke war like tensions with a dangerously armed neighbour with an already activated Army? Do Indians think dreams of conventional and proxy wars with Pakistan will bring them development? We don’t care about starting wars with India, we don’t need to prove a point. All our eyes, hopes and wishes are with CPEC. But Indians are still more than welcome to talk to our COAS, until we Pakistanis work on improving our democracy and finding a PM who doesn’t come to power through rigging and stealing people’s votes. See we actually do have far bigger issues to worry about.
However, the sad reality is the war hysteria, boasting of breaking other people’s country, exploiting their fault lines through proxies is considered mere dialoguebaazi and entertainment for Indian crowd, but not for Pakistan! Do not dismisses such serious war mongering as entertainment, it may explain Indian thought process but not Pakistanis. We imply every bit of seriousness when we reply to Indian war mongering verbosity with our pledge to defend the motherland against any aggression.
If Akhand Bharat types get elected, then yes then they are far more obsessive and dangerous and pathetic. Last time I checked, Gaza e Hind wala never got any votes and he’s been missing in action for ages.
