but on the flip side , their rich hubbies get each wife a personal driver, money to shove down in shopping malls, and their own home. But they just dont drive because that might change them into sluts.With drives they are safe.

I sort of disagree. If the rules of the country are conservative, so are its people. For example, according to the Saudi law, it is okay to film (photo or video) in public. You can’t film government buildings or other people without their permission of course but other than that its okay to film in public. Yet, if the public catches you with filming equipment in a public area, you will most likely get into trouble. I’ve read this on many photographers’ blogs such as this one: Photography in Saudi Arabia | NidalM Photography So even though it is your right to film in public, the public chooses to ignore this law.

Another example would be the newly built graduate university KAUST which is exempt from the strict rules applied to the rest of Saudi Arabia. In KAUST, and I’m talking about a campus the scale of a small town, women are allowed to drive, they don’t have to wear abaya, male and female students are not segregated etc etc… apparently, a lot of groups in KSA have been opposing this initiative by the King. So it’s not just one person, it’s the society as a whole that likes its culture just as it is.

Prosperity at the cost of individual freedom/rights. May be acceptable to some. How exactly did the Royal family get to that position? Beheading as a form of punishment, cutting of the hand for stealing etc.

One this is for sure. Their prince (name?) can turn a billion dollars to a million with his investing acumen. His investment in high tech at the peak and in financial companies at their peak...

the government is considerate about their own people ,so why would the people hate it?

did u know that according to a new law passed by ministry,they are thinking of cutting down expat IT personnel?
companies are asked to have certain percent of Saudis employed
free scholarships to them any time.
government hospitals dont charge saudis a dime (i guess?) not sure about this.
Speaking of schools, schools are being told to give a min of 5K salary while any expats are getting 3.5K max.
did u also know that bakery shops are asked to sell roti for 1 buck because government supplies atta to them. What i am saying even when most retailers are earning with other food products because of inflation, bakery shops cant raise the price.
when the king recovered most government institution employees were given bonus. When my president recovered i was given poo.

and you know when the political uprising was at hype. You could not stand in group of 3 saying bull about the king or you go to the jail. well make anything out of it.

So u see , why would u hate the king when he takes your side.

Yep Rolla govt hospitals don’t charge a Dime.
Just like Rolla mentioned…there are a number of positives for their citizens.
Just like every other country,Saudi has its positives as well as negatives.But the country is peaceful.

I read a hadith about the signs of the approaching hour and one of the signs was that the land of Arabian Peninsula will be peaceful and Prosper with a lot of green trees around and abundance of water and wealth so much so that travellers will only fear about them losing the way but will not fear about thieves. However, bloodshed will increase in abundance.
