**I’m a follower of hanafi fiqh…now please let me explian my argument further…****We are all aware of the nature of dogs…be it in play or anger…they drool all over the show…so how will it be legitimate to keep a dog, since it will undoubtedly spreading its saliva all over the show…through drooling, licking etc…for crying out loud…these animals lick their own bits and pieces!..WTF:mad: ** And secondly, I happened to narrate an personal experience, where I was able to witness first hand, the tale that “farishtay will not enter the house where a dog is present”…
I ain’t goin anywhere near dogs…be they cute, ugly, maltese, german shepherd etc…
Although that doesn’t mean they aren’t creatures of Allah, cos they are, and we should still act humanely towards them…
we should take this to the religion forum…but since we are talking bout it…
different fiqhs believe different things about the dog being napaak or not…do they ALL believe that angels will not enter the home when a dog is present?

no no not at all because you can always cross reference what u find on the net...thats what i do at least. i was going to ask something but i dont want to make this into a religious discussion because that is where it is headed and that wasnt the original posters intention. :)
Dogs should look alert, noble, and masculine. Ready to be a man’s best friend.
Having said that, I will never own a dog because my parents had two in the house when I was a kid and I once saw them poo on the carpet before they were hosuetrained and I NEVER EVER want to have to clean THAT up.
