My Prophet (PBUH's) love for his Wives (Some Romantic Moments of His Life) _Exclusive

Re: My Prophet (PBUH’s) love for his Wives (Some Romantic Moments of His Life) _Exclu

:hehe: Firstly, I was going to be offline from the net for days, so I said I would leave the discussion for a while. That’s what I meant when I say I rest my case.

Secondly, no I don’t think the Prophet pbuh was a very serious person and his home life was like a monastery or something. I don’t know where you got that from [even though I am a serious person myself - I hardly crack a smile when I read jokes in the jokes forum - which I do v rarely :o ]. I agree that they have normal human interactions but within the ikhlaq taught in islam. My issue was with the smearing of food and even as Lajo put it that it could have been smeared with a finger - a little bit maybe? I don’t know. But we’ve been taught to even pick up a grain of rice fallen on the dastarkhan n eat it. I don’t know how to put it for u to understand - it’s about respect of food, be it how little the amount is. Khana khailnay kee chez nahin.

Thirdly when I read the hadiths that was posted I found a v simliar hadith narrated by Ahmad bin Hanbal {sp?} in a book. BUT the ending was different - the food was smeared, the plate was broken and Prophet pbuh was angry. I have returned the book now and I am not exactly sure if it was the same wife or a different one. I tried to find that exact hadith online but I wasn’t able to, it seems that such hadiths from this narrator is absent online. I like to post things with direct reference, thus one more reason I thought - ah! forget it if I can’t find the source online.

The hadith u posted might be a laugh-together-but-small-tiffs-here-and-there hadith for u but it’s a weird one for me.

About Lady Saudah, she was 50 years old when married to the Prophet pbuh. The incident u posted, I don’t know how old the other two wives were at the time of incident but Lady Saudah would be 50+.

Hafsah said to Aisha, 'O Umm al Mummin! The Prophet will be coming and this Saudah will shine before him ’ – Is this the reason to spoil her beauty aids? Doesn’t sound like to me she just wants fun.

At this Aisha said to Hafsah, ‘Fear Allah’. — What is it to fear if they r just having fun.

I come from a big family, we have fun too  but we know our limits. Maybe having younger siblings, I tend to discipline them on the basis of what I know as ikhlaq in Islam - well at least I try to. Maybe I am too serious :hoonh:
