hi...just wanted to add my comments
Ami123...i had exactly the same experiance at my own wedding...its not a day i look back at with pleasure or happiness...i could very easily say that it being the most impotant day of my life, was one of the sadly one of the worst...i looked ugly (and personally, i dont think i am! lol) there was no structure, no theme, no nothing...subhanaAllah, im very happy with my hubby, but it does break my heart when i think abt my wedding day. I dont think one person made a nice comment about my wedding, i want to BURN my wedding film, to this day i have it hidden so far awy that even i have forgotton where the hell i have placed it! And i totally agree with u in everything u say...i dont think anyone else other than he/she who has experainced such crap can empathise.
I cry each time i think about my wedding, it shoud have been the happiest, most beautiful occasion, but no, it was the complete opposite. And all of my cousins and freinds look like fairys and princessess on thier weddings and i just so wish mine could have been like so. So, yeah, i understand what ur going thru, but subhanaAllah, urs is a happy marriage, and may Allah tala bless it for the rest of you lives.
