Re: My political Problem, PPP or PTI?
Really? As if you can inflict similar damage to Taliban with the same amount of casualties and resources!
Taliban say that their biggest worry is NOT Pak Army, NOT Afghan army, NOT USA army, NOT tribal militias. Rather their biggest worry is DRONES. This is what has inflicted biggest damages to their plans of increasing their reign if terror in Pakistan. And by stopping these drones, and MAKING IT HIS PRIORITY, Imran is doing EXACTLY what Taliban want.
If Pakistan can inflict similar damage without drones then WHAT IS STOPPING IT NOW? Why doesn't Pakistan start taking actions in KNOWN Taliban areas TODAY?
Last but not least. WHAT EXACTLY WILL IMRAN DO TO CONTROL TALIBAN AFTER DRONES ARE STOPPED?
This is such a poor, frustrated and ill researched assessment of such a complicated issue.
No, Talibans don't say their biggest worry is drone, its the* tribals *that they say their biggest worry is drones and rightly so. The Tribal belt does not belong to Taliban, its a Pakistani territory! Those people are Pakistani and those drone attacks are a total violation of Pakistan's sovereignty.
Its a height of desensitization and bigotry of certain fraction of Pakistani community who just don't bother showing an ounce of sympathy to the innocent people of FATA who has paid the biggest human price for this war. I guess instead of asking question on some dodgy political board, you actually do some research on Imran with an open mind. He says drones should be stopped not because its favours Talibans (what a pathetic form of fabrication), his stance that if drones attacks are stopped on Pakistani soil that kill innocent Pakistani people, the Talibans won't be able to recruit Pakistani teenagers to do their dirty job. You drop a drone on a house in a day broad day light killing all the women and children of the house and leaving a father crippled for life, what do you think that a 15 year old surviving boy will do if Talibans give him an opportunity to seek revenge of his family? How easy do you think it will be to brainwash that angry teenager?
Once the drop attacks are stopped, not only it'll significantly reduce the number of suicide attack and radicalisation of the region but it will allow Pakistani government and army to take tribal leaders under their confidence, win their totally loyalty and support so they do not shelter those terrorists simple as a way of punishing the Pakistan army.

Agree, but this is one side of coin. If innocent people are being killed in FATA, then this doesn't justify killing of hundreds and thousands people in other parts of the countries by butchers known as Taliban. Khoji's question how will IK deal with this mentality of attacking innocent girls, destroying schools on the name of peculiar interpretation of religion?
