well i’d use a shorter ‘focal length’ .. for sketching that might mean ‘zooming out’ and showing more of the parts cut at the borders… and it would also mean some ‘decompression’ of preceived distance between the objects.. which would, as has already been discussed, give it a more three dimensional look or at least the correct sense of the placement of the objects.
Somehow the Sepia works better for me …
I’d suggest popping one of them open for a more ‘active’ look..
