So you expect Prophet to "respect" gods of times, like laat/manat/uzza. Right? Christians are obviously offended by Islam's view.
Well, we know the prophet did respect people of other faiths, the Prophet even tolerated those who attacked him when he was in Mecca in the early days, and then later forgave when he returned.
We know that the prophet was far more tolerant then any of the so called Muslims we see today...
If your trying to imply that the prophet did not believe in tolerance and that his actions somehow jusitfy intolerance among todays Muslims, then you need to go back and rexamine you views. Frankly, you should be ashmed for trying to malign the prophet in such a away.
And yes, Christians are offended, but does that give them a right to be intolerant and disrespectful of Muslims in general?
I bet you expect a degree of respect and tolerance from Christians you meet.
