I wear hijab (what does this even have to do with this topic??..but anyways) …I’ve invested a lot of years in my caree …and I will probably never be a housewife…Yeah, it’s a great profession and everything- you know something and you can help thousands of people with…but there are times when it makes me sad to think and to know that I’ll never be to my own children what my own mom was for me- she was ALWAYs there, always watching, and available on the first ring when i needed her. Always had my room clean for me, and lunch packed for me in the morning, and dinner made for me for when I came home from school. Yeah, she’s just a houswife to everyone in the world, but she’s everything and beyond for me, and a role model, that a good part of me regrets that I will probably never be like for my own babies.
My point is the grass is always greener on the other side…be grateful for the part you have, and to fire with what other’s think!
