i bought this skirt only a week ago.. and i was so proud of myself for fitting into a size 10.. its something ive been wanting to do since first year uni..
and now, after eating a whole yummy yummy turkish kebab with onions and garlic sauce… i could feel the skirt and my top getting tighter and tighter.. and now, i had to do the embarrassing.. i had to undo the zipper a bit so i could breathe and sit easily… shukar hai the shirts long..
its ok, i dont mind getting bigger.. im enjoying it to be honest, but id rather have the bump showing so people dont think “look there she goes.. the lil chubster…”
^ Cant u just say “oh congrats :)” instead you have to open ur big mouth abt somethin thas not ven ur bzness.. who cares if the skirt is short or long..

see someone wtih a kid? “oh i hope ur married” instead of “whatta cute baby”
see a guy n grl hugging n holding hands? “I hope shes married to him” instead of “oh how cute” etc etc etc :halo:

Zainab, me thinks that thinking like a muslim is a very good thing but to always think the worst of something is not so good... the first thing he thought of was if my skirt was long... if i had said the skirt WAS long.. it would have been like "i hope its not tight..."
why dont they just stop imagining and thinking the worst? do they really have that much free time...? sheesh
naa...it does have to do .. wearing short or long skirts have to do a lot wid religion.. Plus all those incidents u described up there..examples of how ppl think differently..all have to do wid religIon!
