Its worth watching at the theater...but i still think 3Idiots was better...he has tried to send a message about perception etc and a lot of the people liked it...my mum, my aunts etc...because he clears out the negative things people have in mind for Muslims today..in a subtle way but i still didn't like it as much - he should stick to making romantic movies...maybe people will disagree.

Good movie. 8/10

Good background research. SRK did really well as an autistic. Kajol was superb, and the great crying scene which made me tear up. And there were moments where you'd burst out laughing.

The movie should've ended right before the hurricane scene. I was cringing, it was typical bollywood style, perhaps from early 90s cinema. All in all, it was a really good movie, intense drama, but the ending took some of it it away. I think the ending could've been more realistic had Karan Johar ended it at the hurricane scene.

^ agreed. I wasn't too fond of the ending either. It just looked too 'filmy', as the whole movie was pretty much real, considering SRK did an awesome job. Either way, loved the movie. Definitely worth the watch in theaters.

^ Whats your problem ? Just because you liked the movie and you think its uncomparable doesnt mean everyone thinks like that necessirily, And no one is even interested to know which film broke which films record, It was a lovely film and worth watching in cinema thats all that matter, right ?

PS: I loved Both the films and they were equally good although the subjects were completely different

I watched 5 minutes of it online last night.. and it made me a bit sad. I think I'll watch it in theaters in this week.

i watched it last nite n i m shocked cuz of many things.........;

  1. how did it make people cry? i have heard on tv how some stars were crying at premiere n then abt some other people who found it very emotional. I DIDNT and i am somone who can literally cry at the drop of a hat, i m that sensitive but i wasnt able 2 feel those emotions in this movie. not even when the son dies i dnt think the scenes were well directed or well acted.

  2. so many flaws.....really its kinda hard to imagine kj n then srk not noticing all the flaws.

  3. srk acted well and the best thing abt the movie was the msg it was trying to project. however i think they cud have done so much better in bringing across the msg. the movie was not focused n way too many distractions.

i am disappointed.

The movie had good intentions but completely ridiculous.

I mean no way muslims were treated what this movie shows.

Or who the heck dies from a Soccer kick. What was that guy Steven Gerrard?

And how is it that Shah Rukh Khan managed to get to that town in that Hurricane and no one else did.

The movie should have ended when he got out of jail instead of going on the complete ridicilous of saving the town and meeting Obama.

So overrated! It was a nice watch with a heartfelt message, Shahrukh was awesome with his acting, and better than I expected, but I honestly don’t see what the big fuss was about. The WOW factor was missing, I am not sure why. Agree with whoever said the hurricane and Obama scene was unnecessary. I can’t believe people were comparing it to 3 idiots.

The only part that drove me to tears was when Shahrukh gives that speech about his son in the church. I had to fish around for tissues in my bag, I started crying.

I’ve watched the movie few days ago. And to be honest I kinda it but I think the movie is so overrated.

SRK did a great job! There were some funny scenes like the part where he start selling Mehnaz Beauty Products. And the way he’s sharmaaying :cb: His speech at the curch.. Yeah I also had to grab my tissue box there. Kajol (my favorite!) also did a great job. And those two together… THE best!

I did like the movie, but second half was just so so. Some things just werent right you know. Just like mercenary said, the hurricane part, meeting “Obama”, the entire Rizvan Khan media hype. I think that was overdone. Story wise.. Alright I guess (second part could’ve been better) Acting wise.. they both did a great job..!

hi guys ive just seen the movie- Ok SRK was brill in his portrayal of an autistic person…the fisrt part of the movie was really interesting and we were with SRK on his journey but the second half got a tad “unrealistic”.. his helping in a natural disaster…following the President to say a crass line..“im not a terrorist”… however nonethless a good effort to address how “Islamophobia” impacted communites…:hmmm:.. Kajol was her usual …i cud nt stop crying the first part…and give me his brother played by a rather spohisticated Jimmy Shergill anyday!!!:yummy:…Id give it an 8 out of 10!!!:wink:

Are there actually people who associate the name Khan with Islam or Muslims? I think it would have made sense If his name was Rizwan Ahmed or Rizwan Muhammad, but the last name Khan? LOL I even know a Lao guy with this as his first name.

And that within hours...from LA to Georgia...by Bus...LOL!
