Love is a beautiful feeling but when you can not get you love you feel like getting rid of this feeling but its impossible. I am like all other girls who have dreams and want to touch the sky. I am 22 year old and deeply in love with a person for whom I only dream and can hope that one day my dream will come true. I wake up every morning only with the hope that one day we both will be together. It was summer of 2009 when I met the person that I never thought I would love . I used to ignore him and very rude with him but didn’t even ever think that I will fall in love with him. I live in US and my love story started in the summer of 2009 in pakistan. We both became friends after we met then I came back to US and he went to london for studies after his high school. As time passed by our friendship turned in to love with out us knowing and now we love each other so much that can not even stay a day without talking to each other. We have alot of thornes in our life. I was engaged from the day I was born. My uncle told my parents that I will marry your daughter for my son and then after that day my name was attached to my uncle son. I told my mom that I like someone else and will not marry to my cousin. I even told this to my dad one day that I will not marry my cousin and he said you will not see your father alive if you do not marry your cousin. My cousin loves me too but he told me that If i love someone else then I should marry him and he will support me. I did not tell him clearly that I love someone else but I gave him hints that I love someone else. This is only my side of the story. From the other side the person I love has same problem . His parents want him to marry his cousin and he tried to convince them alot to ask my rishta but they are not listening him. Even that other girl knows that he loves me and also his parents still that girl is ready to marry him and is on zid to marry him and also his parents want him to marry his cousin. His parents told him that they will not ask for my rishta and he can marry me by himself but never see them again in life and their relationship will end with his parents. He is ready to marry me by himself without parents permission but I do not agree with him on this. I do not want to deceive my parents and can not marry him by himself. When me and him become tired of trying we feel like giving up and end all of this but It never happens. When we don’t talk to each other and try to forget eachother we go in to depression and our every day life becomes very disturbed and we both are studying too so it also effects that in a bad way. It is my advice to all of you never fall in love because it hurts alot when you see no hope!!! Please remember us in your prayers and give me advice or suggestion what to do about this?

The only thing you can do is keep trying to convince your parents.. How often have you two met? Is it all just over the net phone sms etc.. Youre only 22 so still quite young.. If its meant to be it will happen.. Do not think of running away or anything you seem sensible enough as you said u wnt marry without parents permission..

First step is to get rid of the family obligation to marry your cousin.
Now by saying "you will not see your father alive if you do not marry your cousin." Did he mean he will commit suicide if you don't do as your told? Or did he mean he wont be around you ever again? I'm hoping for the latter but suspect the former.

Its good if he did not threaten suicide. However others do, so you should verify what your father meant.
Listen right now your first step is to break up this arranged marriage you have with your cousin. You've talked with your cousin and even though he likes you, he appears unwilling to marry you if you love somebody else. This is a good sign, he seems like a reasonable open minded person. Explain everything to him. Tell him about the other man (don't mention how the other guy has parent problems). Explain that your dad is forcing you into the marriage and you are miserable and unable to say no. Tell him that you like him but have no feelings for him and hope he meets a girl that truly loves him back.
Pretty much get your cousin to agree to break up the arranged marriage from his end. Have him make up some superficial reason to not marry you that he can tell his parents. Since he already feels sympathy for you (and doesn't want to marry you if you love someone else,) this has a chance of working. Now he might have some conflict with his parents on his end, but if he gets them to agree to a no, it will be an easy split for you and your father wont have problems with you.
Well, the big problem is that his parents are not even starting talking about this and our families are so far apart.

Still go through with it. Speak to your cousin over the phone without his parents knowing and tell him to keep the communication a secret. If you want, get a friend to call him so if the parents pick up, you'll wont be suspect-able. If your cousin feels very strongly about not marrying a woman who is in love with someone else, he might go through the steps of breaking up the marriage on his end and deal with the immense problems that you'll be **completely **sheltered from.
