After many years, I finally got a jewelery set near and dear to my heart made for me. Originally, only the bangles had gotten made. My ammi jaan passed away before she could have the rest made for me. For quite a few years I didn’t have the heart to complete the set, but now that my wedding is coming up, I wanted have it finished so I could wear it in my mother’s memory. The bangles with the garnet stones were her favorite set, so decided to take that and have a necklace and earring set made to compliment it. I finally got the set this last weekend. I like it quite a bit, but will have further changes made to it. The earrings, instead of the half circle, I will have a full circle made. For the necklace, I am thinking of having a pendant attached to it too… like the third picture (I took the headpiece and put it with the necklace, to get a visual image of it).
What do you guys think of the set? Do you think I should attach a pendant, or keep it without? Any other suggestions (pictures would be great) for a necklace? My in-laws have been kind enough to allow me to choose whatever design I want for a necklace, so I can choose one more for myself. Any ideas or suggestions (with pictures would be even better) will be really appreciated! Thank you!

WOWSERS!! Its beautiful! What a coincidence, my friend just got married in July and her set was very similar. When she wore it with her red clothes, it looked amazing. Personally I like the pendant.

i would definitely add the pendant to the necklace, but i think you should leave the earrings as is, i think the half circle looks more graceful than a full cirlce would
as for the second set, antique finish w/ lots of different colored stones are really in now, and they look beautiful...... i'll see if i can find a pic

Sahar… when I tried on the earrings, the empty part between the top and the bottom’s half circle part made it look incomplete. I have a terrific pair of earrings I got from Banana Republic, link below, that look fantastic when I wear them. I always get compliments for them, even they cost me only $20. I am going to have the shape and design made like them.

MashAllah, a very pretty set! Congratulations! In my opinion, I think it would look even better with a pendant hanging there, but it looks good without it too. Some jewelers are clever enough to make a detachable pendant--maybe you could get that one.

is there anyway you can get saharay for earrings they look heavy and thats the last thing you want on your wedding day heavy dopata not properly attached and pinned and heavy earrings without saharay :) talking from experience:)

i have set with detachable pendate it has a pin like broch underneath and a simple ring when i feel like wearing pendant i do
when i don't i can use that pcs as a broch or just attach thi broch pin to simple ring and wear excuisite big ring which is in style

Syani thats very pretty. The current design for the earings is pretty popular too and it doesn;t look bad in all honesty. The artificial earings you put up later are pretty aswel so either one will look good. I like the necklace both ways too just that adding the pendant to the necklace makes it look more formal and heavy, probably more appropriate for a bride.
