:sunny: Thank you everyone so much. I’m really happy to know you all think it’s a good set. Inshallah, I want to be able to hand it down to my daughter as something from her grandma.

I think I’ll definately do the detachable locket… will work really nicely. Daisy, the earrings are actually not heavy at all. The garnets make it look a little heavy, but it’s actually not uncomfortable the way it is, which is a relief. But thank you for the suggestion. I’ll post the final pics in a few months. :smiley: Thanks once again everyone!

As long as you, the wearer, like it and are happy with it, I think that's all that matters. And if a nice big set rocks your world... big set with heavy earrings it must be.

ps - Although, you'll still probably get the look of utter dismay and semi-shock from the traditional aunties who believe you should wear every single necklace you own on your wedding day. And to be honest..... that in itself is worth capturing on film.... :D Remember that post with the bride and her waist length 10+ necklaces?? Ohhhh yeah....... LOL

Sara – I had triple jhumkas :love: I love heavy jewelry, but it needs to be ornate and delicate as well.

Now that I look back at the set, I do think the pendant attached to the necklace will look nice – I think you could keep the earrings as is and add the saharay.
